A holistic approch
To sustainability.
SUPPLIER DUE DILIGENCE
Emphasising Local Expansion
Recognising the importance of high-quality raw materials in our operations, we have established a robust network of over 500 direct raw material suppliers. We actively encourage local sourcing to support regional economies, optimise logistics, and reduce transportation-related environmental emissions. A significant portion of our packaging materials is sourced within a 10-kilometre radius of our manufacturing facilities. This approach enables sustainable procurement and helps reduce our carbon footprint. Through these localisation initiatives, we support local development and promote sustainable practices. At the same time, we maintain the stringent quality standards integral to our business.
SUPPLIER TRAINING
During the year, we conducted training and awareness programmes for suppliers on our Supplier Code of Conduct and BRSR principles. The sessions covered ethical business practices, environmental stewardship, human rights, labour standards, occupational health and safety, anti-corruption, and regulatory compliance. These initiatives strengthened responsible and sustainable practices across our supply chain, supporting long-term resilience and shared value creation.
SUPPLIER ASSESSMENT
As part of our engagement with suppliers on the ESG agenda, we assessed several suppliers across various ESG parameters. We conducted preliminary ESG self-assessments for more than 100 suppliers. The assessments covered environmental management systems, social practices, human rights, and health and safety practices.
SUPPLY CHAIN ENGAGEMENT
To strengthen collaboration and engagement with suppliers, we conduct the Annual Supplier Conference. The event serves as a platform to connect and engage with supplier partners while communicating our strategic goals and future plans. It also provides an opportunity to recognise and honour suppliers demonstrating excellence in innovation and collaboration. These recognitions underscore the significance of innovation and collaboration in driving mutual success.
SUPPLIER AUDITS
Regular audits form an integral part of our approach to monitoring and enhancing value chain performance. These audits include on-site factory visits to assess supplier operations and ensure alignment with our standards. During FY 2025-26, we conducted supplier audits covering 21 suppliers.
Our evaluation framework encompasses a comprehensive set of parameters, including quality and process controls, statutory and regulatory compliance, sustainability initiatives, documentation and data controls, and health and safety practices. It also includes material handling and storage, respect for human rights, and adherence to fair trade practices. This structured assessment enables us to drive continuous improvement and strengthen responsible practices across our supply chain.
